I shoot for Flashes of Hope several times a year. There are chapters in 55 cities across the country. In Cincinnati we shoot monthly at Children's Hospital Medical Center, and in the summer at Camp Joy.

More than 50 per cent of children diagnosed with cancer are photographed annually by FOH volunteer photogs. Since 2001, more than 65,000 kids have participated. 

Portrait packages are assembled and donated to the families of the children.

In 2009 FOH began funding research. It has raised millions of dollars with its Kick-program and other initiatives.

I take great pride in being an FOH volunteer photographer.
